How to Become NPDP Certified:
STEP 1: Meet Eligibility Requirements
To become certified, candidates must pass the NPDP exam and meet additional criteria in education and experience.
If you do not yet satisfy the experience criteria, you may still take the exam. If you pass, you’ll be granted “NPDP Provisional Status” and will have up to 5 years to gain the experience necessary for regular certification, without having to pass the test again.
Education & Experience Criteria
There are 2 different combinations of education and experience that satisfy the certification requirement:
1. Bachelor’s or higher university degree (or equivalent degree) from an accredited institution AND at least TWO years of professional-level experience working in new product development. The candidate must work in this field at the time of application and must have accumulated the required experience within the prior FOUR years.
OR
2. High school diploma or equivalent AND at least FIVE years of professional-level experience working in new product development. The candidate must work in this field at the time of application and must have accumulated the required experience within the prior EIGHT years.

•Crawford, Merle C. and Anthony DiBenedetto. 2003. New Products Management, 7th Edition, Boston: Irwin/McGraw-Hill.
•Cooper, Robert G. 2001. Winning at New Products: Accelerating the Process from Idea to Launch, 3rd ed. Reading, MA: Perseus Books.
New Products Management 目前這本書原文已經出到第九版，中文的有出第八版的翻譯本，不過再這建議書單上列的是第七版的章節，我比較過第七版第八版的章節內容順序有不太一樣的地方，如果您手邊是第八版(含)之後的話，要特別注意，待我有空的時候，再整理差異的部份。
PS:這本書的精裝本超貴，博客來 2005年版售價8,000左右，Amazon 2007年版含運約 5,000，建議大家買平裝的就好了，華泰代理的一本約954，會便宜很多。華泰網址： http://www.hw...BN=0071263365 ，還是再提醒一下，上面建議書單內列的章節，是第七版的章節，如果您買的是新版的話，要注意一下章節的對應。
Winning at New Products 是書單裡最便宜的一本，當初我買不到20塊美金，如果您不確定要不要考，可以先買這本，試試看，看不看的下去，再投資其他的書。

從ＷＢＳＡ開始、去年的ＰＭＰ，為了秉持一年一證照的自我要求，今年開始準備NPDP的考試，由於先前在趨勢上的兩堂課，除了那21個PDU很充實外，那兩天真的覺得沒學到什麼，因此，在因緣際會下，又報名了實踐大學開設的創新產品開發管理碩士學分課程，雖然實踐大學這們課程不是專為證照所開設的，但我想對自己在準備NPDP時，多少會有些幫助，如果您也對NPDP有興趣的話，也歡迎您與我一同討論~
